据法新社援引英国《泰晤士》报8月22日的报道说,挪威奥斯陆大学的研究人员对服用赛乐特药物的情况进行了研究,研究中涉及到1500余名抑郁症患者。研究结果显示,在服用药赛乐特的抑郁症患者当中,会有7人有过自杀的企图,而在服用安慰剂的抑郁症患者中,只有1人会出现类似的企图。
研究同时显示,那些服用赛乐特的患者更容易产生自杀的念头,是不服用药的患者的3倍。而在去年全年,英格兰就开出了将近240万份这种药物的处方。
报道说,赛乐特是于1990年首次被批准使用的。目前,一些组织,其中包括精神健康慈善团体mind已经要求撤掉这种抗抑郁药物。而葛兰素史克公司和英国医学与健康用品协调机构(britishmedicinesandhealthcareproductsregulatoryagency)则为该药进行了辩护,称它利大于弊。
