考试的时候document cd上的search是被屏蔽了的,因此很多人查doc可能会很棘手.我来班门弄斧,讲解下如何在考lab的时候查doc：
1.先进: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/home/home.htm
2.选择右边的:cisco ios software,再选择release 12.3,进去之后选择:
cisco ios release 12.3 configuration guides and command references
这个才是我们真正的目标。
3.这个目录多数讲命令的用法(command reference)和配置向导(configuration guide,相当于小型的教程了).那在查doc之前要确定的一件事情就是,你要知道所考的,是属于哪个分类,比如frts,大家可能会认为frts就是和qos相关的,那么选择：
cisco ios quality of service solutions configuration guide, release 12.3
但是实际上frts并没有放在关于qos的部分里(这是个例外),而是放在了专门讲述fr的：
cisco ios wide-area networking configuration guide, release 12.3
4.但是比如就一般的car,那肯定是在：
cisco ios quality of service solutions configuration guide, release 12.3
再如acl里的动态acl,自反acl,肯定是在：
cisco ios security configuration guide, release 12.3
如果是atm,那肯定是在：
cisco ios wide-area networking configuration guide, release 12.3
至于路由,一般都不需要查了,路由学的不精,还敢去考lab吗?
5.接下来是最令人头疼(或许是你,但是我不会头疼)的ios feature了.很多人一听feature这个词语,就害怕的不得了.所谓feature嘛,就是特性,不是执行设备原有功能的就是feature,比如拿路由器做dhcp server.查ios feature,所有考试可能出现的,都在
cisco ios ip configuration guide, release 12.3 和
cisco ios configuration fundamentals and network management configuration guide, release 12.3 里了可能有些会存在于
cisco ios interface and hardware component configuration guide, release 12.3
这个就只是讲接口的配置与特性.
6.还有lan交换方面的,由于考试用的是catalyst 3550,那么我们退到最原始的页面:

选择左边的:catalyst switches,再选择catalyst 3550.
7.接下来有很多子目录可能会让你晕,别急,这个都是不同的release,随便选1个吧,选:
catalyst 3550 multilayer switches, rel. 12.1(20)ea2, may 2004
8.里面又是命令手册和配置向导,选择软件配置手册:
catalyst 3550 multilayer switch software configuration guide, release 12.1(20)ea2
接下来就是关于catalyst 3550能够使用的所有的配置了.选择你需要的内容进行查询.
9.推荐查询configuration guide而不是command reference.因为前者讲述了配置的方法,唯一的缺点就是可能有的参数讲的比较冗长,比如port security里,几个violation参数：protect,shutdown等,这个看命令手册可能会好点,看你个人喜好了。
并不是英文好的人就知道如何在考lab的时候去查doc，在准备lab考试的同时,把这些doc都看看。想不会查，都难。虽然不能全部记住，但是肯定会给你它们在document cd上的位置的大致印象的。
